To move in Chambéry and Savoie:

It is possible to travel by bus and the city's transport authority offers bike rental by the day or by the week (bike station located in the station).
Please notice that access by car to the city center of Chambery is complicated by an extremely limited number of parking places and parking time, they are very often not free of charge. For people coming by car, we advise you to park your vehicle on parking lots on the outskirts of the city or on one of the two university campuses (Le Bourget-du-Lac, Jacob Bellecombette) and to use the public transport network.
