NEANDERTAL, THE MYSTERY OF BRUNIQUEL CAVE - LUC-HENRI FAGE

A screening of the film "Neandertal, the mystery of the Bruniquel cave" followed by an exchange with the director Luc-Henri FAGE will take place on Wednesday, May the 4^th, 2022 at 8pm at the Manège congress centre in Chambéry.

Who built a structure made up of more than 400 broken stalagmites, 300 metres deep in a cave in the Aveyron gorges? At what time? And why? Since the discovery of the cave in 1990 this astonishing architecture has never revealed its secrets. In 2014, a team of researchers decided to return, hoping to solve the enigma of the Bruniquel cave. For 4 years, we followed them, both in the cave and in their laboratories. We were the first to witness one of the most important archaeological discoveries of our time. And Neanderthal Man is its hero.
